Adult Formation: the Way of Love Continues
AS ADVENT PROGRESSES, we invite you to orient yourself to the coming of Jesus at Christmas through the practices of Journeying the Way of Love. This journey begins by saying “yes” to God’s call to birth new life into the world—a call that is both powerful and gentle, a call that will, if fully embraced, grow beyond our imaginations, spilling out of ourselves and into our family, friends, community, and the whole world.
Please join the Rev. Grace for our current Adult Formation series, "The Way of Love." This is a movement created by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and is an invitation to follow Jesus in our daily lives. The eight-part series will examine seven practices for a Jesus-centered life: turn, learn, pray, worship, bless, go, and rest.
Adult formation takes place Sundays via Zoom.
A Prayer for Connection
Gracious and loving God,
Being alone is hard. We were created for community, not confinement.
But we are grateful that no matter how alone we may feel, You never leave or forsake us. And, we're grateful for the technology that helps us stay in touch with each other.
Today, please remind us that this time of social distancing and isolation will not last forever.
Give us the strength to endure this difficult season, and deepen our connection with You and Your people.
Empower us with an extra dose of Your love, peace, hope, and joy, because we need it. Remind us of Your promises, and please heal your world in the many ways we need healing.
Through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever.
The Mission of the
Church of the Redeemer
As disciples, we are called to share the love of the Redeemer by seeking and serving Christ in all people, that all may be united with God and one another in Christ.

In memory of and in thanksgiving for...
Join The Rev. Grace Rigby every Tuesday-Friday at 8:30 am for Morning Prayer. This service has a rich history in the Anglican Communion and is a great way to begin the day. When joining, you can either follow along in the Book of Common Prayer, use the bulletin displayed on the screen, or simply listen and pray. Morning Prayer is roughly 20 minutes long and the intercessions will cycle through the names of our Redeemer family.
We hope to see you there!
