Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is the way we reach out to our church family, friends, and neighbors when there is a need.

  • The Pastoral Care Commission

    • This team meets every other Tuesday to pray for those on our prayer list and for others.  You may submit prayer requests by filling out a card at church on Sundays or by filling out the confidential form on our website, located here.

  • Needlework Ministry

    • This team gathers regularly to knit, crochet, or sew beautiful prayer shawls for friends and family members who are ill, grieving, or simply need to feel as though they are physically wrapped in prayers.

  • Lay Eucharistic Ministry

    • Our Lay Eucharistic Ministers are trained parishioners who take communion to serve to those who are unable to come to church.

  • Altar Flower Delivery

    • This ministry creates beautiful altar flower arrangements for our Sunday morning worship services and then takes those arrangements apart to deliver to our home-bound and hospitalized parishioners.

"Being a Lay Eucharistic Minister is a privilege and a validation of 'we are one body.' As in many ministry activities, the one serving is blessed as well."
